High Security Spike Barrier
The Road Spike is made and built to withstand high traffic volumes and has a 100% duty cycle. The weighted spikes are prone to breaking if cars exceed the spikes' recommended maximum speed of 5 mph.
The world-class high-security road spike barriers are a two-in-one system that combines a power lifting boom barrier with a surface-mounted tyre slicer or tyre killer to provide unrivalled security to any business. The ‘RSB' has a 100% duty cycle and is designed and constructed to handle high volumes of traffic. The ‘RSB' is powered by two single phase torque motors, each having a 1 second working speed for the road spike and 2.5 to 6 seconds for the barrier arm. On the closing cyle, the spikes will only rise once the barrier has gone through a 30 degree angle.
