Home Automation Solution
Home automation is the residential extension of "building automation". It is home, housekeeping, or domestic activity automation. To increase convenience, comfort, energy efficiency, and security, home automation may involve centralised management of lights, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), appliances, and other systems. For the elderly and disabled, home automation can improve their quality of life and reduce the need for caregivers or institutional care.
A home automation system connects all of the electrical gadgets in a home. Building automation techniques are used in home automation, as well as the control of domestic activities including home entertainment systems, houseplant and yard watering, pet feeding, altering the ambience "scenes" for various occasions (such as meals or parties), and the employment of domestic robots. Devices can be linked together via a computer network to provide control from a personal computer as well as remote access over the internet.Systems and appliances are able to interact in an integrated way as a result of the integration of information technologies with the home environment, resulting in convenience, energy efficiency, and safety advantages.

Following activities are possible with Automation:
1. Lighting: The lights would be controlled via touch screen remote and an iPad through following ways:
• On/Off
• Dimming
• Color changing
All these lights can work differently as well as through mood lighting according to the owners wish.
2. Fan: Total Fan control.
3. Curtain: Each room will have curtains that would be on automation
4.AC/Heating system: Air conditioning & heater can be put on automation.
5. Geyser: One can put on the geyser by just sending a SMS or through remote control.
6. TV sets: One can control the TV set by various control devices.
7. Security System:Door/Window Sensors- While leaving the house, the entire set of door windows can be secured. Incase of intrusion, the system will send siren on and also call on designated numbers.
8. CCTV Cameras: The cameras that are at key locations such as main entrance, building entrance and room entrance- can be viewed thru the iPad. For example if someone knocks at the door, who is outside can be seen on the iPad before opening the door.
9. Doors: The doors can be opened through the same system after seeing who is outside.
10. Audio/Video:The occupant can choose from a varied list of audio and video from his iPad and launch the same to his room television.
11. Appliances:Appliances such as mobile charger, DVD player, Tea Maker etc. can also be integrated.
12. Do Not Disturb : From the room screens, the option to activate DND would be there.
13. Service Call : From the room screen, you can order to call a servant.
14. Interfaces :Each room can have the following interfaces
• Two keypads in each room gives you control where you require it
• 8.4 inch touch screen with WiFi that has all the functions & controls
• Touch remotes
• Any Android device control (Mobile etc.)
• iPad Control
• PC Control
11. Entry Management system:All the rooms would open with access controls that would run on any combination of biometric/Card/keypad.
12. Motion sensors : This is a great way of saving the electricity & doing the light management. The lights will automatically put-off once no body is there in the room/kitchen/stairs/bathroom etc.
